Fitting of Parts

  • It is the duty of the buyer to employ a Gas Safe Registered engineer to fit any gas carrying part.

Identification Of Parts On Website

  • It is the duty of the buyer to order the correct part. We shall deliver the part ordered (via carrier or Royal Mail) and accept no responsibility for inaccurate advice supplied by a third party to the buyer in the identification of the part required.

Alternative Parts

  • Manufacturers of gas appliances have different suppliers for certain items, e.g.flame failure devices, spark generators etc. Sometimes these will vary in appearance but are supplied as an alternative part for your appliance from the manufacturer.

Privacy Policy

  • All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed. They are not held in clear text on any website.
  • We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties.


  • Cookies are small amounts of information which we may store on your computer.
  • We use session cookies to make the basket and many other features work, these cookies are removed when the user closes the browser.
  • The site also has ‘Remember Me’ feature on the login page. If this is ticked then a permanent cookie us placed in the users browser that enables an automatic login


  • We cannot accept the return of goods specifically ordered from the manufacturer. We will normally accept the return of goods from stock within 10 days of delivery providing they are in good condition and in manufacturers original packaging. These will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
  • To return goods you must inform us of the invoice number for the part you wish to return. If this item can be returned we will send a returns email which must be sent back with the part. Without this we cannot proceed with credit. The postage costs are the responsibility of the customer and cannot be refunded.
  • We DO NOT accept the return of PCB's.
  • We will not credit any item received with ANY writing or marks on the box/packet.


  • All goods should be inspected on receipt. Any damages or shortages must be notified within 3 days and photos sent to us as proof is required for claims from our carriers.
  • If 'leave in safe place & unsigned' this is at buyers risk & no claims can be made for carriers damage or for missing after being left as instructed
  • If parcel is received damaged, please sign for as received damaged

Defective Goods

  • Admitted defective goods will be replaced during the period of manufacturers' warranty. The faulty part to be returned before credit is issued. To return an item you must inform us of the invoice number for the part you wish to return and the fault on the part.  We only guarantee the spare part and cannot be held liable for any labour costs incurred or any inconvenience caused by faulty parts.

Force Majeure

  • Ignus Ltd shall not be under any liability whatsoever to the buyer for non-delivery or delay in delivery indirectly caused by or resulting from an Act of God, outbreak of hostilities, insurrection, riot, civil disturbance, Government Act of Regulation, fire, flood, explosion, accident, theft, climatic conditions, shortage of material, strike, lockout or trade dispute (whether of the seller's employees or of other parties) caused by or resulting from any other event or circumstances whatsoever (whether or not of the same or similar kind to those mentioned) beyond the seller's control or caused or resulting from the default or negligence of the seller or any of its employees, sub-contractors or suppliers.

Title Of Goods

  • Title to goods will not pass to the buyer until payment is received in full.
  • THE PROPER LAW OF ALL DEALINGS IS ENGLISH LAW. Any disputes will be settled in the court of ENGLAND
